It’s a changed place and this makes us sad. Completely the opposite from the charm that used to attract us for many visits over the past 18 years. People are rude, entitled and very unfriendly. Something has changed for the worse on international drive. We were served there by a guy Darrien who looked after us relatively well but this is what we found all over I drive….people being tipped were the only ones making an effort. At this point I was getting upset and very embarrassed in front of our party so we said could we just have our original booking inside and we were finally seated. She made a very rude face and gestured to me as if I was stupid. I asked the girl to explain as we were getting confused. Our party came inside to then be told that they had no space outside (it was empty) and that it was not first come first served. This made no sense but I did what I was advised. A young lady there said I had go back out, gather my party, bring them all inside to then be seated back outside by a member of staff. I went inside as advised and the service from there was shocking. Meanwhile, our friends ( total party of 7) took a seat outside. The guy said no problem, just to go inside and let the guys in there know to cancel our existing booking for inside. We arrived around 40 mins before and the outside area was fairly quiet so we asked at the outside bar area if we could change our reservation to there. I was only able to book an indoor table as outside is not bookable. So….we invited friends who were staying in Kissimmee to come down on Sat 30/6 with their two children and decided to book a table at Bahama Breeze as we were excited to show them how good it was. Our last visit was 2018 and we loved here and it was always a highlight of our holiday. We used to love the outside seating area with the reggae drummer and the great atmosphere and wonderful service. We stayed on I-drive and as many times before we were excited to come back to Bahama Breeze. Our wait time didn’t seem like any wait at all for the food. Prior to them joining us we ordered our drinks (non alcoholic) and some appetizers which were very fresh guacamole & chips, & the cheese sticks - these were perfect & not too filling. Parking was a bit difficult but we survived & checked in with absolutely no wait time! They were able to easily accommodate us in adding the 3rd person as well! They gave us a booth overlooking the water & all the tiki torches were lit outside so the atmosphere was amazing! Our friend came about 20 minutes later and we ordered shortly after. So That was an additional person we needed to add once we got there since we already made reservations. On the way there we asked a friend to join us. My son made reservations online which worked out perfectly for us.
